We help men, women and children struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, compulsive eating, compulsive exercise, chronic dieting, body hatred, food obsessions and phobias, and confusion about diet and nutrition.
At Lakeview Center for Psychotherapy we view eating disorders as complex, multidimensional difficulties involving biological, nutritional social, familial/relational, cognitive, and emotional factors.
In order to address all aspects of these complicated problems, we rely on an interdisciplinary team of professionals who work together to support recovery.
Eating Disorders Treatment at the Lakeview Center may include individual therapy, group therapy, family or couples therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, nutrition therapy, medication, medical monitoring, art and movement therapy, mindful eating, and eating disorders support groups.
If more intensive treatment is needed, we are able to coordinate intensive outpatient treatment through our partnership with Insight Eating Disorders Center.
We know the struggle with an eating disorder can be long and difficult. We are committed to providing the treatment required to overcome eating disorder symptoms as well as their underlying issues.
Men and women can overcome eating disorders. The Lakeview Center eating disorders treatment team can help.
