Interpersonal Therapy Groups
This therapy group is for adults who would like to learn more about themselves and to improve their relationships with others. Members can use the group to examine the range of feelings and experiences that arise for them within the context of relationships, and to improve self-awareness and confidence in interpersonal interactions.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Skills Training Group
DBT skills can be a valuable addition to individual psychotherapy because they offer practical strategies for managing strong emotions. The group is open to new members approximately every 4 weeks. Each unit focuses on one of the four DBT Skill Areas. For more information on the skill areas, go to the DBT page. While group members are encouraged to experience the whole cycle of training, they may commit to one unit at a time. Blue Cross insurance accepted. limited sliding fees available.

Art Therapy Groups
Low Fee Open Art Studio Group
Express feelings through art in a safe environment using a variety of materials. No art experience or special abilities necessary.

Women's Art Therapy Group
This 4 week group is aimed for women who feel they may benefit from verbal and nonverbal means of expression through art. Mediums may include: Painting, drawing, collage, beading, clay, found-object assemblage, creative journals, altered books and more. Topics including depression, anxiety, family, relationships, body image, focus, self-esteem and frustration tolerance, will be covered through a check-in exercise, an art-making directive, discussion and presentation of artwork and a closing exercise. Group members will begin a directive during group, complete it at home and present their observations the following week. This group will be lead by Ashley Samson, Art Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Previous art experience is not necessary.

Eating Disorders Therapy Group
In a small group setting, women will support each other as they let go of eating disorder symptoms and replace them with supportive, caring relationships that enhance self-esteem.

Emotional and Binge Eating Therapy Group
This group is designed to address nutrional concerns and questions of men and women who struggle with binge eating and to provide an opportunity for mambers to share personal experiences around food. Topics this group may address include identifying "binge" foods," recocognizing hunger and satiety cues, the relevance of meal planning and food journaling and learning about nutrionally dense balanced foods.
